BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS!!

We have received several reports that fraudsters are calling clients of financial institutions and stating that they are from the fraud center. They are also spoofing the financial institution phone numbers. The fraudsters claiming to be with the “Fraud Department” may only be requesting that you provide an authentication code that they will send to you to read back to them.  We will never call and ask for an authenticator code..  Other fraudsters are requesting personal information such as credit/debit card number, Phone ID, Account number, Apple Pay, Google Pay and/or Online Banking log in credentials. Do not give out this information. The Housing Fund and most financial institutions will never call you asking for personal information.  Please, if you receive any communications to this nature, hang up and call us to report the incident.
